Add 2 Cart - Remove From Category Listing? was created by Freakmode999
Is it possible to remove the add 2 cart from the category listing so a customer has to view the product details before adding a product to the basket?

Only asking as customers need to know the size of the products we sell before just buying them.

Sure. Simply edit your products listing menu/module via the menu Display>Content menus/modules and turn off the display of the add to cart button.

I thought I already tried that and it turned off the add 2 cart in the product display also.

That's not possible. The add to cart button of the product page can only be turned off via the option of the same name in the Display tab of the configuration. You can't turn it off on the product page with the options of the module/menu.

Well I have now lost the add2cart buttons on my product listings but it still shows in the category listing. Strange

You're not looking at the correct settings. Edit your products listing menu/module via the menu Display>Content menus/modules

I must be stupid as I have no add2cart buttons now on any of my product listings and i can't get them back on.

Sorry i am officially stupid - i turned it off in the configuration display. God know how I did that.
