Custom field is not editable

Hi,
I added custom field for table Product- it is a text field for url a customer must type in. The field is not editable by customer. Could you please help so customers able to input text in it?

For your HikaShop question, please use the HikaShop section in this forum.

The product custom fields are not editable by the customer, only by the administrator (or vendor in the front-end).
If you want something editable by the customer in the front-end, you should use "item" custom field, not "product".
Because the value entered by the customer for the specific product in the cart will be stored in his cart and in his order.

Awesome, it works.
Except the custom field is shown in both - for product on category/list and also in Product page as it supposed to be.

Is it possible to hide that custom field on the category/list page? It takes too mush space there.

and only options there are:

2) Then I selected the field name and under tab Display only options:

THe option Front-end - Yes - makes the field display on both - on The list and and in shopping cart. So how to exclude that field from the list?

You're not looking at the correct place.
Go in the menu Display>Content menus/modules, edit your products listing menu/module and turn off the "Display item fields" option and you won't see your fields on the listing, only on the product page if the Front-end option is turned on.
