Update Characteristics broken?

Hi,

That's normal. You need to click on the "manage variants" button of your product. That will display you a listing of all the variants of the product. And you'll have a new button in order to add the new variants to your product.
After adding the new variants, you'll see the new value in the dropdown of the product page.

This seems to be a much faster solution that I just discovered:

Just entirely remove all the characteristics, Save the product, then add them back again (with the updated characteristics), then click Save again.

My method took seconds without any bugs. I tried your method below and found it very difficult.

Yes, your method is possible as well. The problem is that if you customized each variant (for example to set a price, a description, etc for each variant), it will be much faster to add a few variants than regenerate all the variants and then have to reconfigure all of them one by one. But yes, if you didn't customize your variants, your method is faster.
