Brands don't appear at the backend

Hi!
I have created a few brands for my products, but when i go to create a product at the backend, there are no brands options, there is just "none" in the dropdown. Is there any configuration i need to do? Why brands don't appear?

Hi,

It means that the brands you created are not brands but product categories.
Make sure that you go in the menu Products>Brands and that you create them from there and that you put them directly under the "Brands" category. Then you should see them.
