We are porting over from Virtuemart to Hikashop.

In Virtuemart, we have three individual products (also sold separately) that make up a SKU. This is a "three of a kind gets you a slight discount". When the customer orders it, they set the characteristics of each of these three items. Ive attached an image showing this in Virtuemart. This action all takes place within the current product.

I know its possible to have a discount based on adding multiple products of the same basic SKU (or Code), but that requires that the customer go through the process of adding the products, one by one - not very elegant.

Is there a way to implement what we've been doing in Virtuemart in Hikashop, allowing them to do this all in a single "Add to Cart"?

Hi,

You can have a main product with the three products as options of that main product and they will appear as dropdowns on the product page of that main product:

So there is no way to have multiple options, under one option?

Example: Option:Sock Colors
(Blue socks .50)
(Green socks .50)
(Red socks .50)
(Yellow socks .50)

etc

?

I also ask because variants do not allow you to have a price, which is kind of upsetting. Most shops charge extra for larger t-shirts etc. etc.

Hello,

So there is no way to have multiple options, under one option?

To do that you'll just have to add an option which have variants on your product configuration page.
