Product "Options" appearing in Product Listings

Hi There - I have all my Options saved in an unpublished category under the root folder. However I keep seeing them appear in my product listings - just a random Size - £5 amid the other products.

Plus they get inserted to the google feed.

how can I stop one or both of these problems?

If you create a products listing of all the products under the main category and that under that category you have an unpublished category, the products under that unpublished category will still be taken into account and displayed.
You really need to put that unpublished category outside of your main tree of categories so that the products below it won't be taken into account on the products listings.
That's probably what is happening here.

Regarding the google feed, it indeed takes into account all the products, even the option ones. We'll fix that for next version of HikaShop which is to be released this month.

I'm afraid I may not have been clear. My options folder is directly under ROOT, and all the products are in folders under Product Category. The options aren't in any authorised folder

So your tree is :
Root
Options - Product Category

In the options of your menu/module, for the category option have you selected "product category" ? If it is, the products of the options should not be displayed.
It you have that set up like this, but still the issue you can give us a backend account via private message or via our contact form.
