Carousel overlaps modules below was created by wenglos
-- url of the page with the problem -- :
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.4.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.1
-- PHP version -- : 5.3.29
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : any
Hello,
I'm trying to show some of the Hikashop products via Carousel feature . However, as you can see , the Carousel DIV overlaps with subsequent modules. Do you have any tips, what could be causing the problem and how to fix it?
I'm also wondering about how to set the width of the carousel to the full width of the page, independently on the screen size. The only way I've found so far is to set the pixel width of the images, but it's unusable when the page needs to be work both on wide computer screen and mobile displays as well...
I've attached also the Hikashop configuration of the module causing the trouble.:

Hi,
To avoid the overlap, please add the following css property:
Then for the width, the current carousel is not responsive, it will require modifications directly in the code of the carousel or you can potentially use @media queries to change the module width based on the screen size.
Here is documentation for layout customizations:

Hello,
The solution will probably be to use your CSS code to readapt the carousel container, and then directly edit the JavaScript code.do you have a tip on which properties to change in a way that also the carousel's javascript adapts to that (and works properly also on the reduced width) ?
