image not displaying for variants

The images for the my products is displaying correctly but the variants are not displaying this image. The variants have no image of their own and I understood that the product image would be used by default if no variant image was uploaded. The IE developer tools for the variants show

Unfortunately, there is a htaccess on your website blocking the access so we couldn't have a look at it.

Hi,

The issue comes from the customization you made in the product layout view file.
You've moved the image display code inside of the product name main div.
Because of that, when you change a characteristic dropdown, the system refresh the name of the product and you just get the new name.
You should move the image display code outside of the product name main div and it will then work properly.
