Multiple images for category

Multiple images for category was created by Bernhard7
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.4.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.1
-- PHP version -- : 5.4.16
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome 42.0.2311.90 m
How can I display several images (more than one!) for a category? I am currently able to insert several images into the DB, but they are not displayed, neither in the backend, nor in the frontend.
What can I do?
Is it planned for one of the next versions of HikaShop to allow more than 1 image per category?
thx,
Bernhard

Hi,
We don't have such plans in the short term.
Having several images for each category would have no use since there is nowhere to display the images besides the main one which is used on the categories listings. So there is no reason we would add such capability by default.
Where would you want to display the others ?
But if you really want to have several images for the categories, you can create custom fields of the table "category" and of the type "image" or "ajax image". You can even configure them to display when someone clicks on the category on categories listing.
So if that's what you want to do, that's already possible. Note that custom category fields are only available with the Essential and the Business edition of HikaShop.
