Custom Fields - what edition to do I need?

Hi

I need to include within certain products a custom field that would when published would enable a shopper to insert a name (for embroidery purposes).

This would show within the checkout and emails sent as confirmation.

Which edition would I have to buy for this facility?

You'll need the Business edition.
You can do that by creating custom fields of the table "item" via the menu Display>Custom fields.
