HTML Product Description?

-- HikaShop version -- : 3.4.0 Business
-- Joomla version -- : 3.8.7

How do I show formatting in the product descriptions?
Even when I put HTML elements in the product description (e.g. bullet points, paragraphs), it still shows as one long paragraph in the Product Page.

I have the Description Default Format set to "HTML" already in the Configuration page, but product descriptions still display marked down.

....also, to import HTML-formatted product descriptions, should they be in HTML code or would just WYSIWYG in Excel do?

Hi,

If you previously entered the description of the product as markdown, then the product description will stay as markdown even if you change the type in the HikaShop configuration.
You would have to recreate the product to use HTML as we didn't create any interface yet to change that (markdown is still a new feature, so it will get improved as we get feedback.
For now, you can only import product descriptions in HTML code.
