-- HikaShop version -- : 4.0.2

Hi,
the Component 'Unite Nivo Slider' slideshow maker conflicts with the carousel and slideshow function in hika's module.
Enabling Hika's module causes the other components content to disappear.
Hope you can help and suggest a workaround.
regards,
Ian and Stu

Hello,
Can you provide an Url link in order to see your issue ourselves ?
Add your related module screenshot configuration as well.
Did you contact the Component 'Unite Nivo Slider' creator support ?
Awaiting news from you, to move forward.

Hi,
I can provide a link because the other slideshow disappears without any error messages when I switch the hika module to on/published. I've attached the configuration screen and would be happy if you could suggest a component (slideshow) that didn't conflict with Hika.
thank you very much,
Ian and Stu
p.s. A link to the site is in my feedback message .

Hi,
Without looking at the page with the issue it will be hard to say what's the problem and provide a solution.
There are several ways we can do it:
- you make a copy of the website (in a subdirectory of your website for example, and with another table prefix for the database) so that you can activate the modules in that copy.
- you can create a menu item in a hidden menu (not your main menu) and in the settings of your modules, use the "menu assignment" to allow the modules only for that menu item. Then, provide a link to that menu item so that we can access it while this menu item won't be seen by others.
- you could create a menu item in your main menu similarily and use the access level system of Joomla to restrict it to only some user groups. Then provide a user account in that user group so that we can see and access that menu item while others won't see it.
Now, any sliders module is supposed to work with HikaShop used. If it doesn't, it's probably some kind of javascript library conflict. In fact, a third element might contribute to the issue like the template. In most cases, it's a jquery library issue and in such cases, installing and configuring the jquery easy plugin for Joomla often fixes the problem. But without looking at the issue directly, I can't confirm anything.
