Now to the problem: When a user hasn't filled all the required name/adress fields (billing adress) in the cart/checkout page and click "next" (bottom right) nothing happens I still get the cart/checkout site again.
Should not a warning message display/error appear which says the user must first fill out all required adress fields or something like that?
That will only happen with hikashop before version 1.3.9 (you can update and that should solve the problem) and only when you already had an account before on the website and that you logged in with that account.
Oh, had 1.3.8 and yes the account(s) were made before installing hikashop.
(downloaded newest version here on the site which is named "com_hikashop_starter_1.3.8_2010-12-02.zip", shouldn't it be com_hikashop_starter_1.3.9_2010-12-02.zip?)
Don't worry, it's the new one. The version number is added dynamically and we didn't update yet the record so that the update is only available via the website and not via the update/about link. We will change it once we finish to update the documentation for the new version.
