Checkout goes to homepage
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.2.2 business
-- Joomla version -- : 2.5.11
-- PHP version -- : 5.3.27
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Safari/Firefox/Chrome
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : none
When you enter your info as a guest and click Next, it goes to the homepage.
The same thing happens if you try to log in.
Also, I think this just started happening when I upgraded to 2.2.2.
I used the contact form to send the login info, so feel free to take a look.

Please download again the 2.2.2 install package on our website and install it on yours and that should fix the problem.

On the cart now and on the pop-up that shows the 'proceed to checkout' button, it now says:
Undefined property: stdClass::$link in/home/whiskerworks/whiskerworks.com/components/com_hikashop/router.phpon line 56

I update the HikaShop 2.2.2 in order to add a check for this kind of problem.
The link which point to your checkout uses an ItemId (a menu id) which does not really exists.
It could be the "force checkout menu" which was configured with a menu which does not exists anymore (so the menu can't be listed either in the HikaShop configuration) or it could be a link from a page with a wrong itemid.
But the new package avoid this warning message.

'Force a menu on the checkout' is set to None.
(I tried setting to a menu from the dropdown list, then reset it to none.)
What should I try next?
' it could be a link from a page with a wrong itemid' <-- How do I solve this? None of the items I have tried work.

In the homepage, I found this link
Because we see "Itemid=18" in the url, it means that it uses a menu which does not exists. Otherwise the "itemId" won't be display in the url and you will have a nice "SEF" url.whiskerworks.com/component/hikashop/prod...3-the-guru?Itemid=18

I tried removing the itemid by editing router.php using the instructions here:
developernote.com/2012/05/how-to-remove-...m-url-in-joomla-2-5/
I also tried turning off SEF but it made no difference because the itemid is always there.
What can I do to get rid of it? It only seems to be on HIkashop pages.

And did you done some modification through the "registration" file of your "user" view of your front-end template, through "Hikashop->Display->Views".

Edit: Is there another view that could be the problem?

That the link is "empty" it's logical. But when you click on the button, a javascript should be process and validate the form.
Please redownload HikaShop 2.2.2 in order to be sure that you have the latest fixes.

If it's an issue with views, where should I look to fix it?
If it's an issue with itemid, where should I fix that?
Sorry for not knowing, but I'm not sure what steps I should take next to solve the problem.

I fixed the problem directly in your website by installing a special HikaShop version.
I found some various javascript errors which stop the checkout fields check.
Please confirm me that the problem is right solved for you and I will update the production package with the fix.
Sorry for the inconvenient.
