billing & shipping addresses should be independent

I am putting this as a bug report because i don't think it functions how it should. The billing and shipping addresses should not be linked i.e. when i create a new shipping address it should not also create it as a new billing address. They should be independent of each other.

I feel that it's more practical for the users like that. That way they don't have to enter the address again next time if they want to use it as a billing address.

yes, but it means that it gets confusing. for example, I live in australia but have family overseas which i buy presents for, and so i dont want all the overseas addresses listed under the billing address as they will only ever be shipping addresses. So i only want 1 billing address but might have 10 shipping addresses. (have a look at Amazon)

also, when you start putting more addresses in it starts filling up the page. It would be good if you could give your addresses a name eg 'Work', 'Home', 'Mother' etc and also have them collapse (maybe with a mootools accordion style effect) when not selected that way they wont take up alot of the page when you have 10 addresses. thanks

I am a new user and love the product so far but in testing our new site I agree that it is confusing to see the addresses appear in a list under both billinig and delivery. Has a fix for this moved up your list?
