Hi, I'm using Joomla 2.5.6 with HikaShop Starter 1.5.8, I'm trying to find the PayPal plugin but can't? Am I meant to download Paypal from somewhere?

oh yes I do thanks. There were so many menu items I missed the system one.

How do I know which PayPal plugin to use. I don't think its necessary to force the user to register on the site once he has items in his cart - I just want him to login into paypal and pay then return to the site?

You should use the PayPal payment method plugin. Then you probably want to remove the "login" and "address" views from the checkout workflow option of the configuration.

ok thankyou. I added my PayPal email address into the PayPal payment method and now when I when I go to checkout on the frontend I have a message 'No payment methods found'- obvously I'm missing a step?

Also I should mention I have looked through www.hikashop.com/en/support/documentatio...ins-listing.html#faq

and can't see anything I've missed. Does Hikashop have a suppot team that I could send a link to my site too so they can have a look?

Not that I've intentionally set. Can't see anything about zone restrictions in System->zones - is this where the zone restrictions are set?

If you could just do a screenshot of the options of your payment plugin we should already be able to tell you waht is the problem.
There is a high probably that you don't see the payment method on your checkout because you either configured the "zone" restriction option there with a different country than the one of your address, or because you configured the shipping methods and/or currency options which would all be left with the default values unless you want to restrict the payment plugin to a specific zone/shipping method/currency.

The way your configured it, it will only display when the address of the user is in Australia, that his currency is USD, and that he selected the Australia post shipping method.

Please remove all these restrictions and it will display.

In that screen, you have the options:
Zone
Shipping method
Currency

Each one allows you to restrict the payment method to a zone, shipping methods or currencies.

Thankyou Nicolas: I've removed the restrictions on the zone - but when I highlight the currency and shipping methods and press delete nothing happens?? How do I delete these fields?

Like any multiselect on your computer.
You need to press the CTRL key of your keyboard and click on the selected items in order to unselect them.

Thankyou very much Nicolas. That has solved the 'No payments method found' issue and I now can go to the next step of checkout.

I didn't realise that highlighting those options created a restriction.
