Points and checkout not working

Hello!

Im just testing the alpha user points and it generates a coupon, but the shipping fee left over wont go through to the checkout - the page just refreshes, and gives this error: Error, you cannot validate this order.

Am I missing something?

Could you do a screenshot of the options of the AlphaUserPoints plugin ?

That error means that the partial payment is not activated and that the coupon amount does not cover the order value.

I don't think I have it setup properly.

Also, can I change the wording of the emails in the language file? I had a quick look and couldn't see anything there - I reckon a search function in the language file would be an awesome addition to HS for those with bug eyes

In the payment area, you should set 1 point = 0.02 AUD

You can change the text of the emails with translation overrides yes.
There is no need for a search function there. There is already one in your browser for that. Just press CTRL+F, enter your text and hit ENTER and you will get the result of the search on the page.

Couple more questions:

- One more question: Is it possible to have manual shipping methods for registered users, and then use Australia post method for wholesalers?

- With alpha user points, how do you stop groups from earning points if they are all registered? I want to stop wholesalers from gaining points.

Hi,

- Yes. In each shipping method, you have the "access level" area if you're using the Business edition. That area, allows you to restrict shipping methods to user groups.

- In the joomla options of the AlphaUserPoints plugin, you can configure the "access level" for which the plugin is active. That should allow you to do that.
