Coupon

I experience some strange things with the coupon. Of all the times I simulated a coustumer it only discounted the coupon once! When I have two products in the cart, it discounts not twice the coupon value but almost thrice. Nice for the costumer, less for me

I have only two products in my shop (book and e-book) and one category called stillbuch. Doesn^t seem to be so difficult? But I don't get it...

See attachted the screenshot of my coupon and the "behaviour" of the coupon at the checkout process (when the discount at least appears, but is not calculated correctly). I now that machines always calculate correctly, so it must be my fault, but I dont find it.

And this is my checkout-workflow

cart, login, address_shipping, confirm_cart_coupon, payment, confirm_cart_terms, end

Hi,

You configured too much options in your coupon.
You have configured both a product and a category in your coupon.

Just set it for the category and don't select any product so that it applies to the products into that category.

Ok, did it, just deleted the product and just set the category. But still something is going wrong. From the book it dicounts correctly the defined 20%, but form the e-book it discounts 40%! What have I made wrong!

PS: I am still not happy with the layout, which is because of my template, I know. But I would like to fix it, even if I had to pay for it. Could someone please get in touch with me to resolve that issues?

Are you sure that it's not because of another discount ?
Could you do a screenshot of the discounts listing of your backend?

I have assigned only one. Please have a look at the attached screenshots..

I downloaded the discount.php file of the link you send my. I put it in /html/stillbuch/components/com_hikashop/controllers, but it makes no difference. Could you please tell me, where I have to put that file?

I can't start with my marketing activities without a working shop on my page. I am loosing precious time here...

They should go in the folder administrator/components/com_hikashop/classes

I do not have such a folder

You're looking at the frontend files of HikaShop. I'm talking about the backend files. Please read carefully my previous message.

Sorry, I have learned something new again. I did not know that there are two different locations on the FTP for the files.
However, coupon seems to be able to do his maths now, problem resolved.
