shipping prices changing

shipping prices changing was created by arul_css
Shipping cost for a product is $2.00
For each additional product, shipping cost is $1.50

If add 3 qty The shipping amount should show $5 ( $2+$1.5+$1.5)

How to solve this?

Hi Mohamed Thelji

This is not a problem, i need condition for the below requirement.

For a single product, $2 for shipping and handling.

For 2 or more products $2 for shipping and handling for the 1st product, and $1.5 shipping and handling for each additional product.

Then I think that you should just :
- Set the weight of your products to 1
- Create 1 manual shipping method
- Set the price to 2
- Set the "Use the prices per product" to YES
- Set the "Price per product" to 1.50

Hi

Thanks for your help.

But When i add e-book product, shipping charges calculated, actually no shipping charge for E-book.

How do we restrict the shipping charge for E-book?

You should just add a weight to your product or set the "Force shipping regardless of weight" Option to YES through "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Checkout".

I have set Yes for "Force shipping regardless of weight" Option
now also it is not working,

In the cart 1 product is 200g
This E-book is 0 g

In the shipping method configuration "Minimum weight" is 200 g

There is any other way to fix this issue?

after setting the weight for the ebook, when select the ebook product alone it is not taking the shipping cost. if i select another product "printing book" this time taking the shipping cost for both ebook and printing book.

Should i change anything in the code?

If you look at your ebook settings, you have a weight of 100g. If you look at your shipping method options, you have a minimum weight of 150g.
So it's normal that the shipping method does not display when there is only that product in the cart.
