mulitple shipping addresses ?? Can it be done?

Hello Nicolas, and I hope you can help me "think" of a possible easy way to do this please.

1) I did a search for what I want to see if can be done.

Your search mulitple shipping addresses did not match any topics.

2) With Christmas coming, I would like to offer a SPECIAL on (2) of the same product.

1 @ Regular Price $ 39.99 or buy 2 and get the second one for 50% off.. ( 39.99 + 19.99)

Price per Product shipping will be: $ 9.99

3) BUT? Shipping will still be needed to charged. I will make a "special product" for (2) @ $59.98 and then use 19.98 for shipping.

BUT? Is it possible to have customer have (2) ship to addresses?

a) Ship one product to Jim
b) Ship other product to Nicolas?

My alternative way to do this, is may I make a > URL where to redirect when a "special product" is ordered where I may have a form for them to fill out for 2nd ship to? [Nicolas Address]

Hi,

It's not possible to have multiple shipping addresses during the checkout.
You could potentially add custom order fields on your checkout to ask for the additional address. But you won't be able to display them only when some product is in the cart. They will always display. but you can always tell the users to only fill them if they order several products...
