Error while sending XML to UPS. Error code: 111035 was created by ICwater

Error while sending XML to UPS. Error code: 111035. Message: The maximum per package weight for the selected service from the selected country is 150.00 pounds.


i'm getting this with the ups shipping module. most of my products are over 150lbs there any way around this?

seems it wont show the fedex option either unless it's a lighter product. whats up with that? :S

Hi,

In the UPS plugin options, you can select the shipping methods you want to use with UPS. Some of them are specifically there for heavy products like the LTL ones.
You must have unselected the shipping methods which would allow you to ship via UPS your products.

oddly i'm not getting the error now. but neither fedex or ups swow up as an option when adding an engine to the cart. site is here globalenginesales.com fedex will show if i add an engine head to the cart wich weighs like 30 pounds. any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

i'm pulling my hair out here. anyone have an idea why shipping option wouldn't show up at all. i mean the fedex does on lower weight items but ups doesn't at all. boss is gunna kill me. or worse fire me.

Maybe the UPS method is not configured properly. For example, if you restrict it to the UK and that your user address is in the USA, you wouldn't get any results, regardless of the weight/dimensions of your products.

If you could do a screenshot of the options of your UPS plugin, we could check your settings.

cant get freight to show. got ground to show on a lighter item. but that price seems a little high. lol

Hi,

For the FedEx plugin, the configuration sounds ok.

For the UPS plugin however, you should remove the - at the beginning of the postcode. Otherwise, UPS will fail to interpret the post code properly. That probably explains why you don't get any rates with UPS.

could you tell me how to turn off the errors being displayed at the top of the page?

i turned off display errors in the joomla config but they continue to display. also says cart empty up there when you delete an item. just dont want to see those messages.

i know it exceeds the max weight, but it gives me that message even though ups is not an option. i just want to turn those messages off.

The solution would just be to unpublish the UPS shipping method through "Hikashop->System->Shipping methods", because this method isn't available because of your product's weight.

i have some lighter products that use ups. i figured it out though, was a setting in the template.
