VAT added for Norway

Hi Nicolas,

I thought I had VAT set up ok when suddenly a guy from Norway tried to buy and stopped because VAT was added even though Norway is not in the EU.

I checked the Europe tax zone and sure enough Norway isn't included. So I'm not clear how this customer is getting tax added. Is there any way to simulate this from my location in Greece?

Taxes are added based on the address provided. If you set your address to norway, you should be able to reproduce the problem.
Could you post a screenshot of your tax rules listing ?

Let me try that again....

With these tax rules and since the norway zone is not in europe, you should indeed not have taxes if your address is in norway.

To make HikaShop think I'm in Norway can I create a test user and edit the address to Norway (geo-location says I'm in Greece) or do I need to temporarily move the shop address to Norway in the config?

Ok, the picture is clearing a bit....

I set up a test user with address in Norway and no tax got added. Time to look again at the particular customer I think.

On the screenshot he gave you, he didn't register or logged in yet. So the system must be using his geolocalized zone.
