images of imported products not showing

Hi,

I've uploaded 168 products, including their image name.
I uploaded all the images to /var/www/html/media/com_hikashop/upload

My products are now online, and some of them are not showing the right image (but the standard barcodeimage).

I'm sure the names are totally equal, fe:
ballclosureringhematiteball.jpg

When I open that product in the backoffice, there i see the right image name, and it shows the image to! But not on the storefront where my clients can see it..

If I delete that image, and re-add the right image (the same one), then it shows up ok on the site to..



What is goin' wrong?

Hi,
That's strange. It's the first time someone report such problem. Do you have any case difference in the names ?
The image are displayed on the back end and on the front end with the exact same library which check the existence of the image before using the default image if there is a problem with the image.

That might require to put some traces in the images display library, in the file administrator/components/com_hikashop/helpers/image.php in order to understand the problem.

Yes, What was it?? I have the same problem!!

It must be a problem with either the CSV or the images not uploaded or not uploaded in the good folder.

I figured out what was the problem on my side. most of my image file names had capitals and it seams that hikashop only accepts small letter names. this also apply to downloadable files.

I hope this saves someone else's time
