Product review extension was created by plantpotphil
Is there an extension to Hikashop which allows for product reviews at the bottom of product pages?

A bit like this one:

extensions.joomla.org/extensions/extensi...lated-products/12703

I'm using Jcomments at the minute but it would be cool to be able to allow users to leave a Star rating.

Anyone got a similar system set up?

With jReviews, you should be able to have a star rating under your hikashop products: www.hikashop.com/en/support/forum/2-gene...ompatible.html#15671
We are also working on that and should have something available directly in HikaShop in the near future.

It would be cool to get this in a release soon. I think it's a pretty important feature in e-commerce.

Pros?
Cons?
Facebook integration?
Allow others to comment on reviews?

I would say a star rating and comment system is all that's needed. The star rating should be summarised at the top of all comments to give an overal score out of 5 stars.

Added features would be the ability for users to rate the 'usefulness' of a review.

Ideally, maybe just try to copy the Amazon review system ;)

Hi!

Just noticed that Amazon has a function where people can create a video review via their webcam, or upload a video review of the product. This would be super cool!

Would this be very difficult to implement? Any other carts doing this?

Hi,

We won't do that immediately but we'll keep it in mind. The webcam review sounds difficult to implements but the video upload shouldn't be a problem. It's more about the usefulness of the thing than the technical aspect.

hello back dear team,

May I kindly now what reviews extensions do you have nowadays? I am following this 3 years++ old topic.

What do you have todays as an extensions? Anything like amazon system for raating + reviews + comments?

Would be great with comments. I know that actual hikashop let you include comments, but you now that many spammers can enter and post whatever shit on the website and also urls.
Would be great a comments based on disqus on something moderated, or by facebook login. Any extensions available working with hikashop?

does JLexreview or vReview work with hikashop?
and what about disquss?

I have just check the other jreview and they want to charge a freaking 180 dollars? LOOOL!

I don't think that we have integrations with JLexreview, vReview or Disquss with HikaShop.
You could potentially contact the support of these systems to have more informations.
