Billing Address - New (stuck in loop)

Hi,

My website downloads products and no shipping is needed.

I turned off all the custom field address entries for registration.

What I do need to do is collect a secure ID from my customers at time of purchase.

I added a custom address box to this listing to collect the secure id.

box shows up during registration like it should.

When an order is placed the secure id did not show up on the shipping address or billing address fields.

I then added address to the checkout sequence and turned on manual shipping in plugin area well.

Now I get a field in checkout requesting billing address - New

I click on new and get a pop-up asking for the secure id with a box to paste it in.

When I paste it in and click OK, it just loops and wants me to click OK over and over again.

Cart does not update with billing address new data.

Suggestions, I'm stuck!!

Please update to HikaShop 1.5.2 and try again.

If there is an update link somewhere, please post it here, I cannot find it.

Loaded rokbox_j16 as well.

Problem reported in first post still there.

Do you have a javascript error on your website ? Could you give a link to your shop so that we can see the problem ?

No html errors that I know of.

Go ahead and register. Put a random string of characters in NinjaTrader 3rd party licensing address field.

The problem is that you transformed a custom text custom field to another type of custom field. That's now impossible with 1.5.2 as the custom text fields do not have any column created for them in the database.
So it's easy, just delete that custom field and create a new one with the same options and it will work.

The orders are now being generated with secure ID properly displaying in billing address.

I noticed that if I click on invoice or shipping invoice, I get the following error.

Fatal error: Call to a member function getFields() on a non-object in /home7/innovbn8/public_html/administrator/components/com_hikashop/views/order/view.html.php on line 350

Is this normal?? I have the free edition?

It's a bug of the latest version. If you download it again and reinstall, the problem should disappear.

loaded latest version.

Invoices open the first or second time they are accessed.

Every time they are clicked on after that yield that dreaded gray screen with no data.

Click again to get back to order. again , again, and over again, gray then order, gray then order.

Also, my added address data does not show up on the invoices in the billing address fields.

That might be because of a bug of mootools on joomla 1.6 with firefox. Is that the case ? Did you try with another browser ?

Could you do a screenshot of the billing address issue so that we can see the problem?
