Different product prices in conf. vs. status mail

Hi,
I am facing the following issue with HiKa shop 1.5.4 running on Joomla 1.6.1:

After purchasing one or more products the client receives the confirmation mail showing:
- Product name
- Unit price (excl. VAT)
- Amount
- Total (unit price * amount) incl. VAT.

When the order status gets changed, the client receive the update mail showing:
- Product name
- Unit price (excl. VAT)
- Amount
- Total (unit price * amount) but excl. VAT.

This is obviously confusing. I could live with either way, but they should be identical in the order confirmation and the order status update mails.

We do not have that problem. The prices include the VAT in both emails.
Did you edit the emails via the menu System->Emails in a previous version and then updated HikaShop ? That would explain the differences as we actually changed that so that it is consistent.

having HiKa Shop Essentials, I don't have this menu item (System -> Emails). I did change some translations under Configuration -> Languages.

Last night I restored the backup from before the update (back to version 1.5.2) and the behavior is identical.

Ok, so maybe it could be because joomla wasn't able to update the email files.
Could you try to open the content of the files in the folder media/com_hikashop/mail and make sure that there version number is 1.5.4 ?

If that's not the case, you could upload the new version of these files by extracting the installation package on your computer and uploading them from the media/mail of the package to that folder viat FTP.

just checked. They all show version 1.5.4. I attached them here in a zip file, in case it helps.

- Product name
- Unit price (incl. VAT)
- Amount
- Total (unit price * amount) incl. VAT.
