Let customar pay fee is set to "not" but still a fee is shown in checkout.....howcome?

Please check the configuration of your "ePay" payment plugin. You should have set some payment fee on it.

There is none

I suppose that you had set one, tried the checkout and then changed it to 0. The problem is that the payment method configuration is stored in the user session to improve performances so you won't get the change unless you logout/login again from your frontend.
