Google Merchant Pointers?

Anyone have any fantastic ideas to help get hika shop products to show up better in the google shopping search?

This is a lift bridge photo I shot. It is in my Google Merchant account as a product, but I can't find it in Google Shopping. Wondering if there's something dumb I did, or something smart I should be doing to help find shopping items in Google Shopping.

I can see it on google products:
www.google.com/search?q=lift+bridge&tbm=...5d2&biw=1920&bih=979

The problem is that the product name is not specific enough and there is no description.

I did add a description in Hika Shop, must not have updated yet. Still working out the kinks for how often the cron task and the google plugin to run. What is the best frequency?

It depends on how often you update/add products. A one day frequency is set by default. You can go up to a 15 minutes frequency but Google might not like that for long
