Classifieds feature

Just thinking how good it would to have a classifieds feature in Hikashop. I know many small shops whose customers have stuff to sell and where the owners have a second component installed on their websites for this. Surely a simple front end submission form with admin approval of products would make a great addition.

Products submission on the front end and admin approval will be possible with the multi vendor feature we're working on.

Please, do you have any update on HikaMarket release date?

We've progressed a lot and we plan on releasing it before the end of the year.

So, Will it be directly joomla 3.x compatible?
Hooping to have it as soon as possible (every week saved it's gold for me), please, Is it possible to have yet a detailed feature list?

A bit too early to be worrying about J3.x yet. J3.0 really is meant for developers, not general usage. Best wait until the next LTS release IMHO.

Yes, HikaMarket will be compatible with Joomla 1.5 2.5 and 3.0 from day one.

We didn't compile yet the complete list of features that will be included in the first version.

I am the person in charge of the development of HikaMarket.
I know that it took time but with the release of Joomla 3.0, we had a lot of things to do. The list of features for the first release has changed, we added somes which are not planned and we moved another to the next release.
For the moment, we are working on HikaShop and HikaSerial releases. The next version would be compatible with Joomla 3.0 and will have a new look.

As soon as HikaShop 2.0 would be published, the development of HikaMarket would restart.
There are few missing points. We want to improve the product edition layout and to finish the order edition.

Features are :
- product edition in front end
- order edition in front end
- multivendor
- registration for become a vendor
- vendors edition in backend
- vendor edition in front-end
- multiple accounts for the same vendor with different rights
- complete ACL system : choose everything that the vendor can do (what can be edit in products, in orders etc)
- Compatible 1.5/2.5/3.0
* HikaShop 2.0 required (starter, essential or business)

I hope that HikaMarket would be release soon, but I does not have same time that I had these last months.
I think you can understand that I have to gain some money if I want to live, so I can't spend too much time without making some missions

Which update?!? Well, I mean to the possibility that:
on each transaction at the mean time the vendor has a plus on his total points based on € for ex., the buyer has a minus on his total points for the same points.
In this way I want force my users not only to buy, but in special to add thimgs/products to sell...

I don't think that we'll be able to add that in the first version of HikaMarket.
But we'll add that to the todo list of HikaMarket.

HikaMarket can be used like a classified extensions? With:

• pre set expiration date for ads (an email will be sent before the expiration to ask for ads renew)
• show price (value of product, so also Alpha User Points can calculate points), but product for free

HikaMarket would have classified features.
The first release focus on the front end edition and the base of multi-vendors but, with other releases, more feature would be implemented around "classified".
The HikaMarket ACL system would be compatible with "tokens" in order to create restrictions.
