Frontend module to add/edit products & categories

Request for a frontend module to add/edit products & categories. So we don't have to provide admin access to client for this purpose.

We're actually working on a solution for that. We should have it ready in a few months.

We're still working it. We're still a few months away from a release.

This new front end interface, does it allow view/add/edit it tabular form or is it one at a time like the present back end, one at a time is really frustrating, esspecially when you have a table view, its just not editable!

It will be similar to the back end interface of course.
A mass edition interface is something we want to add in the future but not in the short term as we are focusing on a wishlist system and the multi vendor system at the moment.

I don't know if that will allow you to do that, but that could be possible. We didn't take part in the developement of the seblod integration and didn't hear about it since last month. You should contact seblod directly if you want information/news of it.

I just want to know, in hikashop 2.0 will be this modification in future? or in 1.6 in future?

I want make catalog with many items, so the fronted editor will be very cool for me)

Hi,

Front end edition will be release as a separate extension of HikaShop, like we did for HikaSerial. It will require HikaShop 2.0 minimum. We are currently in beta test for HikaShop 2.0. A few weeks after we release the final version of HikaShop 2.0, we will release that new extension. We are currently wrapping it up and we'll starting testing it soon. It will be released in November or December.

I d' like to know if you have released the extension?
I am using CB with several different users. I need each user to be able to add/edit his own products in front-end using hikashop. So, I need to know if the extension is released or not? Is it a feature embedded inside hikashop or it should be installed separately like an extension?
In addition, I 'd like the "add to basket/checkout" options get disabled in this case. In fact, I am using hikashop for just displaying products information to other users and not letting them to buy anything. How can I do it for front-end edition?

Can all the above be done by free version or I have to buy commercial version?
