Payment plugin for Klarna was created by jansuhr
Klarna payment service is a major player in Scandinavia and is used by most webshops. It has a good reputation and is popular by customers. For private customers it is very trustworthy and those who are paranoid about paying over internet do trust this one.

They are now having plans to expand their services to the whole european market.

There are already plugins for some major e-hops and for Joomla they support VM.

It would be a great thing for Hikashop to jump on this train since it is the best Joomla solution on the market today.

Just got some News from VirtueMart that they now have a payment plugin for Klarna, I qoute:

We are already working with Klarna since a few months in order to offer that integration in the near future.
The plugin has already been developed and should be validated soon.

Is the Klarna payment method already available? I have a few clients who can't wait to switch from VM to Hika and they are using Klarna.

Hi,

We had few things to improve in the HikaShop Klarna plugin.
The actual plugin is working but in order to provide all Klarna, features, some modification are required.
If you want, we could see to send you the current version of the Klarna plugin and you could check if all working well for you.

Hi,

I have sent you the plugin.
We didn't validate yet the "Klarna Account" because of "pclasses" processing. This problem would be fixed as soon as I would have a little development time :)

We do not forget the plugin but the development has some delay.
Like hybridprofilering, we can send you the current version of the plugin, we is working but some features are not validated.

Hi,

We put in our planning to finish the validation of this plugin for HikaShop 2.2.0 (the next release).
We hope that it would be good but we can't guarantee it, the communication is complicated sometimes.

Hi,

We are currently working on a "multiple payment & shipping" feature in HikaShop.
The klarna plugin is so, in re-factoring in order to be compatible with the new system which would allow us to fill all requirements of Klarna.

I could send you the plugin by email but it would be validated so you couldn't use it in production.

The multi-shipping is not yet released and is planned for June.
When this big feature will be available, we will be able to finish the Klarna plugin in order to validate all requirements of Klarna.
