Alpha User Points payment Pluging

I Installed the pluging and everything seems to be working fine, except that the points are automatically deducted on each order.

As soon as anything is put into the cart, if the user has points, the system automatically deduct the 100% of the points.
I want to let the customer decide how many points he wants to use to pay for the order.
is this possible?

There are several options in the AlphaUserPoints plugin, like "group points", "min order percent", "min cost".

Thanks for your answer, but it didn't actually help me figure out how to set up the system, to let the customers use the points they want and don't have the system discount the whole amount of points the customer has.

I don't understand your requirement.

AUP will use all points it can use.
You can put some limitations and some rules but the user would not have the possibility to select how many points he want to use.
This feature is not implemented in the plugin and is quite complexe.
AUP already have two different ways. It could be use as a payment plugin or as a automatic discount generator.

Thanks Jerome, that's actually what I wanted to know. Customers will not be able to choose how many points to spend, If set up, the system will use all points, got it now. Still work for me, just need to explain it better to my customers.
