First Data e4 Gateway

Hello, I need to use the First Data e4 gateway for my website payment option. Virtuemart has a plugin but that extension is super annoying. Any chance there is something for this extension.

Where do you download the plugins?

Any chance you will update this to the new e4 gateway. I cannot use the legacy globalgatway.

All payment plugins are installed directly with HikaShop.
You can see them in the backend: System > Payment plugins.

There is no plans in the short term but it's on our todo list, like 60 other payment gateways

OK, thanks for responding. I understand completely, just wondering because they don't offer new customers that legacy gateway. I can use Virtuemart for now.

I got a newsletter and wondered if there was any news on updating the Firstdata to E4 was done? Doesn't look like it but just wanted to check.

Virtuemart is not working out well.

You can actually use the authorize.net plugin with FirstData e4 with a slight modification:

Hello, I wanted to see if you have any news on this FirstData E4 compatibility. FirstData has stopped supporting the legacy mode completely. A client of mine using BigCommerce was forced to update their system a few months ago due to the FirstData change.

I talked to FirstData recently regarding our parntership with them and they didn't tell me anything about that.
The integration between FirstData e4 and the Authorize.net plugin is still working fine as far as I know and that's what I had recommended you 1 year ago, not the FirstData plugin which was indeed already deprecated at that time.

Hello, I am fine using this method. I have not tried anything yet and just wondered because a client of mine was forced to switch to E4 from some other connection to FirstData because they discontinued it. Must be some other connection method then.

I am in the same boat and am trying to use the GlobalGateway E4. This was also my reason why I bought HikaShop Business.

Now looking thought the FirstData payment pluing, which requires Store ID, API password and PEM, KEY files and password I cannot find anything related to that in The FirstData terminal.

Talking to the customer support only resulted in them saying, that sounds like a legacy/old plugin.

All I have in the Glogbal Gateway E4 Terminal is the
Terminal ID,
Gateway ID,
Division ID,
MID,
Transarmor Token and
a password.

There is a API section that shows me:
Key ID
HMAC Key
HMAC Key password and various empty content fields.

FirstData is used with Bank of America, which is the biggest bank in the US, which is what my clients are using. Please help!

PS: I also looked at using the Authorize plugin, but that has even more different configuration fields that I dont see in FirstData...

The FirstData payment plugin is indeed for a legacy payment gateway of FirstData.
If you want to use the GlobalGateway e4, you need to use their Authorize.net emulator.

Which is what I have tried, but with errors.

* x_line_item # 1 - Taxable is too long (maximum is 3 characters)
* x_line_item invalid
* x_relay_response : Parameter x_relay_response must be empty or TRUE
* x_relay_response : x_relay_response too long. Maximum length is 4

I was able to remedy the one error but now still have:
