How to get tabs in the product information

How to get tabs in the product information was created by swlabhot
How can I add tabs in the product info page (ie., a tab for general product desc, a tab for nutrition info, a tab for ingredients..)?

Is this easy to do as I don't have any knowledge with the coding..

Hi,

You can use the extension Tabber extensions.joomla.org/extensions/news-di...contents-panel/14493 and then you can just have all the tabbed information in the description of your products.

This is very strange. I got the tabs to display the info but whenever I change the Characteristic (in my case - 'Flavours'), I can no longer switch and view the other tabs?

That's a common problem with tabs and characteristics.
The solution is to make a small change in the view file:

Another issue if I may... The box that expands for the description appears to be too wide and goes off the page. Is there anyway that I can adjust the width of the box so it can be seen on the page?

Sorry I meant the plug-in Tabber. The box that surrounds the description on each tab.

Look at the far right border of the page where the white box is cut off.

You can add the CSS below in the front end CSS file of HikaShop (you can edit it in the Display tab of the config):

.hikashop_product_description_main{ margin-right: 10px !important; }

and that will fix the problem.
