Upgrading from 1.6.x to 2.5.x

Hello,

We are upgrading our Joomla from 1.6.5 to 2.5.x.

We currently use Hikashop 1.5.6 should we upgrade this to the latest Hikashop version prior to Joomla upgrade or upgrade Joomla first?

Are there any know issues with Hikashop going from 1.6.x to 2.5.x that I should be aware of. I Have searched the forum and can only find reported upgrade errors rather than known issues.

Hi,

You should first upgrade joomla and then HikaShop.
The upgrade shouldn't be a problem although the configuration changed a lot and you will have to reconfigure "show add to cart button" option of the configuration. That's pretty much it. Of course, you should do a backup before each step in case something goes wrong.
