Migration Virtuemart-Joomla

Hi,
I plan to switch from VM to Hika.
What is the most secure way to migrate from J1.5.26+VM 1.1.5 to J2.5.8+HK 2.0.0 ? :S
1-migration to J25 -> install HK 2.0.0 -> import data from VM 1.1.5 ?
2-install HK 2.0.0 on J1.5.26 -> import data from VM 1.1.5 -> migrate to J25 ?
3-another way ?

Hi,

I don't know how is the migration from J15 to J25 with VirtueMart.
You can install HikaShop on J15, import data from VM, don't uninstall VM.
Then update Joomla, and see if the importation is ok in HikaShop, if not do a new importation from VM.

By this way, you keep the data in HikaShop and Virtuemart during the update to Joomla 2.5. More chance to success
