Problem Saving New Products and/or editing old!

Hi I can't edit or save new products! It just says: "Error - Save failed" (or in Swedish: "Fel - spara misslyckades")

It's a new website and the first products were imported by CSV-file. Have anyone had this problem before?

Turn on the debug mode of the joomla configuration and that should display an error message with more information on the issue.

It means that there was an issue with the update of the database structure and you didn't get the new column "product_canonical" in the product table.
Download again HikaShop on our website, install it again and that should force the column to be added to the table and you won't have the error anymore.

It didnt work Im afraid! Do I need to uninstall it completely to make it work? Could it be that its something caused by the CSV-file that was imported? So if I reinstall it and run the CSV-file again i'll get the same problem again!?

It's not a problem with the CSV.

If you remove the hikashop tables from the database and install the latest version, you should not get that error.
