Import from CSV file doesn't work properly

this is the problem.

i made a CSV file from an excel sheet and tried to import this in Hikashop.
from the first 34 items only 18 or so are imported ??!?!?

everything looks the same, but i get this error:
"The product is of the type but it already exists in the database and is of the type variant. In order to avoid any problem the product insertion process has been skipped. Please correct its type before trying to reimport it."

i corrected the items (left the product_Type field blank) then re-imported it but the it din't work also......

can someone help me please..

I think that the best solution would be to :
- Export all of your products through a CSV file
- Edit and import this file

I've tried this but it did't work...............

The product_type column should be either "main" for main products or "variant" for variants of products.
If you get that error, it means that the line of the CSV mentions the product_type as "empty" or "main" but that the corresponding entry in the database (based on the product_code) is a variant. and it's not possible to change the type of the entry like that. Which means that your CSV is erroneous.
Correct your CSV and it will work.
