magazine subscription website

Hi, I have been asked to produce a magazine subscription website where a single magazine or pack can be paid for, the customer needs to be able to log in and view their history etc. Also an email needs to be sent automatically to them 2 months before their subscription is due to end. Is this possible with Hikashop? If not any suggestions on how best to implement this.

HikaShop is not a subscription application but a shopping cart, at least for now (we'll add such capabilities in the future).
So for now it's not really possible to manage subscriptions.
You can of course have a system with the acymailing integration which will send an email to users two months after their last order. But it won't handle the unsubscription of the user nor will it be able to tell you that one person is still subscribed or not. You will have to look yourself at the orders of the users to know that.

We don't have a timeframe yet. Such feature is quite big and it will take several weeks to develop it properly. We didn't start working on it at all yet so it will be in a few months at least.
