Payment method only showing for US not Canada was created by byesuzuki
Hi There, I managed to setup shipping zones for both US and Canada, but for some reason I can only have one country set for payment method. We are using only paypal. I can switch between either US or Canada. but I can't seem to find how to get both...any guidance would be great.

Hi,

Just remove the zone in that option and it will work for all your zones.

Actually when I try and select the payment method and then the shipping, an error occurs and says no payment method is defined - but it is defined. Not working for Canada and US - any assistance would be appreciated.

It's probably because of the way you setup your payment method. For example, you selected a shipping method different than the shipping method that is selected. Thus the payment method is removed once the shipping method is selected.

Could you do a screenshot of your payment method options?

Hi - OK I got the US working but the Canada one is not working again. It gives me errors in terms of saying we haven't specificed a payment zone. Attached is a screen shot of the payment zone.

Is there a way we can pre-select shipping as a default?

In the options of the paypal plugin, in the "shipping methods" option you selected only one of your shipping methods.
That means that paypal will only display for that shipping method and not for the other.
You should either select both or none of them if you want to have paypal displayed for all of them.

Thanks! It worked! is there a way that we can 'pre' select the shipping option, so the user doesn't have to click it? it will save time for the user and also removes the 'refreshing' of the page.

Well, it is preselected by default, unless you turned off the option "Auto select default shipping and payment methods" in the checkout tab of the configuration, so you should check on that option.
