Custom fields : checkbox

Hi everybody,
I would like to have a mandatory custom field by default not selected.

If it's a single dropdown or radio buttons, the default value is always one of the fields.
Then it's not guaranted that something has been filled upon validation.

Could it be possible that there is no default selection and that something has to be checked upon validation ?
Or possibly a first "to be selected" value and a control that the final value is different from this first value --> selection <> default field ?

Hi,

You should add a value to your custom field.

Leave it empty the "value" input and add your "Please select something" text in the "title" input of the value.
Then save and in the default option you should select that option of the dropdown.
Then, if you set your field to be required, it will ask that the user select something in the dropdown before submitting the form.
