back order

If I want to make "back order" feature
Please advise any easy method can be used?

Hi,

There is no back order system in HikaShop and that can't be added easily.
In the latest version, there is however a wait list system. That enables the user to subscribe to a wait list when a product is out of stock so that he will be mailed when the product has stock again.

So,if the products is built to order (BTO)
any suggestion I can try to do for setting at the backend?

Why wouldn't you be able to have BTO products using normal products ? Could you explain more what you're trying to do ?

So, any idea that I can display to customer to be wait for our production?

Hi,

In your payment plugin's options, you can specify a return URL. That return URL will be where your customers will be redirected to when they finish their payment. Thanks to that option, you could display them with a joomla article to display them to wait for your production.
