Changing payment option after order submission

If I had to change the customers payment method after the order is created because they changed their mind for example, how would I get them to the right gateway (depending on which method they used) to pay for the order?

I switched the payment method manually, and it gave me no format, or link I could generate to send them to the gateway.

In the commercial editions, you can activate the option "Payment of orders not paid immediately" in the Checkout tab of the configuration so that users can go in their orders listing on your website and pay their orders with the "pay now" button of created orders on that listing.
