product navigation to next and previous?

When i am on a product page in the frontend, how do i navigate to the next and previous products? and also navigate back to the parent category view?

To navigate back the the category view, you can use the breadcrumb module of joomla with which HikaShop integrates.
For next and previous there is no easy solution as the problem is that the whole listing view is completely dynamic so the order of the products in it can change in a lot of different ways. Having such buttons on the product page would mean to redo all the calculations on the product page.

hmmm... this is quite a standard feature of shopping carts. It needs to be simple for customers to navigate the shop. You need to keep them flowing throughout the shop and not hinder their browsing. It makes it hard when they have to go searching for how to view the next product.

The next and previous buttons would show the adjacent product in the category the product is in. Im not sure of the mechanics of it but maybe have a look at opencart, redshop, virtuemart to see how they do it.

It's in the todo list. And you can add something not too complicated for yourself if you know a bit of programming. But for a real support of that in HikaShop it will be more complicated.
