Assign phone order to a joomla username?

1. When i add a phone order into the website myself through the backend, how do i assign it to a joomla username? ie the person doesn't have a joomla username yet? Can i not add them in as a customer and have the option (eg a button) to automatically create a joomla user account.

2. Also with the option to assign an order to an existing joomla user account, we need to be able to filter by name or username rather than just scroll through a list of thousands of emails.

1. You first need to create a joomla user via the joomla user manager. Then, create the order. If you already have the order, you can always create the user later on and assign it to the order.

2. Indeed, it would be nice to improve that in the future. I don't have a quick and easy to add solution for you for that. It will require the development of that.

Just bumping this issue. I have thousands of users and it is nearly impossible to try and find them when assigning an order to that user manually from the backend.
