Billing Address

I want to edit the billing address display as my custom field isn't showing.

Which php file creates this: hikashop_checkout_billing_address

That's created in the file address_view of the view checkout that you can edit via the menu Display->Views.

If it's about adding it to the address selection display, you should rather edit the file "address_template" of the view "address" for your front end template via the menu Display->Views.

I created an address1 field and it adds correctly to address_view.

I thought it worth suggesting that if the field is blank that you should not add it to the display as currently an empty field creates a gap.

That would require to be able to have conditional tags in the address_template file. It's in the todo list.
