Joomla Search Module -> Hika Product View list

Hello Hika Team,

i found out that the Joomla search finds the products better.

I have part for a machine called CT 800

When ich search with the filters for CT 800 i do not find products with CT800.

With the normal search module i do find.

But i gives me only a normal list,

Is it possible to show the hikashop product list with the normal search module?

Hi,

The filters works the same as the search module. If you don't find your text when you search it via the filter, it means that your filter is probably not configured like the search plugin (for example, you didn't select the same columns to search in).


It's not technically possible to show the listing of products with the normal search module. That in part why we had to do the filtering system.

How could i rename Filters in the Module?

Any text in HikaShop can be overridden as explained here:

I did it that way

But in the Module still is Filters as heading and Filter on the button

In category view the changes took effect.

The same translation keys are used for both display. So I don't see how that's possible.

Could you give a link so that we can see that ?

it was a cache problem.

I still have the filter/search problem

In Joomla Search Module u can search for bre ct800 and ich will find bremsanlage ct800
when i search the same with filter it finds nothing

is it a bug or my fault?

It's neither.
The filters do not handle multiple words separately but together and does not handle multi lingual search.
So it might come from that.
