change date format on my orders page

Hi,
As a default format, the date in my orders page is Y-m-d h:i (or some thing like that... )
I would like to change it to only m-d-Y.
Could some one please help me find out how to do it?

after more digging I found out that it's not related to joomla date format.
still looking for a way to do it, any ideas?

The format is set directly in the view, when displaying it.

The dates format on the orders listing can be changed by editing the file "listing" of the view "order" of your backend template via the menu Display->Views.

You will find there such format string:
%Y-%m-%d %H:%M
