Digital Downloads and Characteristics

I have a client who has many digital versions of her work she wants to sell. There would be around 10 different sized and resolutions for each art piece. I could not see anywhere, that I could set a different digital file per characteristic. Is that at all possible?

Or must I add 10 "products" for each original artwork because she has at least 25 originals meaning 250 "Digital products" would need to be added.

Yes, it's possible. Once you add your characteristics to your product, you can click on the "manage variants" button in order to edit each variant of the product and set your files.

Is it possible with products that have characteristics or variations etc, that when the price is displayed, it could possibly append "From: " and then the price somehow? because otherwise it is a tad misleading etc.

You can customize the way the prices are displayed via translations overrides. However, you won't be able to display or not these overrides based on the product.
For that, it would require that you customize directly the file "listing_price" of the view "product" via the menu Display->views. But you need to have a good grasp of PHP for that.

Yes, we'll add some more classes and override possibilities so that this can be done more easily without changing the code of that view.
