Shadowbox overwrite file not working

Hello,

As stated in your documentation i tried to implement the Shadowbox plugin on my website. I've followed the steps and installed the component, downloaded the overwrite file and put it in my template/html folder. Nothing happens..

Am i missing a step?

Hi,

Make sure that the plugin is enabled and that you upload the php in the zip we provide on our website and not directly the zip, otherwise, it won't work.

I did upload the extracted file to the correct folder, as stated in the docs. There was nothing to overwrite, is that correct? The Hikashop folder did not exist too..

Still, after uploading the file and enabling the plugin, nothing happens.

There is nothing to overwrite yes.
Once the file is uploaded in the correct folder and the shadowbox media player extension installed and published, the rest should be automatic.

Well then there's a problem with my site.

my steps:

1) Download and install shadowbox to my site
2) Enable the plugin
3) Download overwrite file and unzip it to my PC
4) Upload the file (hikashop_image.php) to ftp: /templates/mytemplate/html
5) Now it should work right? Is not the case, i still get the old pop-up at the images..

Did you change mytemplate by the folder name of your template ?

If yes please give a link to a product page so that we can see the result.

I did, file is in the template folder is currently use.

Looking at your website, I can see that the override is not taken into account.
The only reason would be that the file hikashop_image.php is not in folder templates/heatplus1_2/html on your website or that the file is empty.

I feel stupid, I added the file to the template folder of a template i don't currently use.
